Final Card by Rich Hill – Trick

A wonderful demonstration of mentalism!

A card is predicted and sealed in an envelope. The envelope can be held by an audience member throughout the presentation.

Next, a deck of cards is examined and shuffled by a spectator. A colored disk is placed on an easel on the magician’s table. After the cards are fully shuffled, the magician takes the deck and counts off 16 cards.

Four cards are placed under the clip on each of the 4 colors on the disk. Now you explain that you will eliminate 15 of the cards so that only one is left, and this will be with the help of 6 spectators. The first volunteer names a color and the 4 cards from this color are discarded. Two more volunteers name a color, and these cards are discarded.

Now the remaining cards are mixed, and re-distributed, one on each color. Three more spectators each name a color, and these three cards are discarded, leaving only one card. This card, without any funny business or sneakiness, matches the magician’s prediction!!

The audience member who has been holding the envelope the whole time can open the envelope. You never touch it, and inside the envelope is the matching prediction!
